oh...but it did

i lost sight of You...
...again

in the fog and in the sunlight...

...both have been outshining

...pulling...
...lying...
...creeping...

and i sold You for the moment...
...pretending it didn't matter

oh...

...but it did

Poetry.
Nothing more than the mind's ability to let go and speak without the sensor of "proper" or "correct".   Beginning next Monday (2/22), I will begin a monthly poetry link up called Waxing Poetic at Bina's Pad...a chance for you to showcase what you already have written OR the chance for you to step out in your first, baby stepped shot at it.  Think on it...start working on it...then come back next week, ready to post your thoughts...and show a little piece of your heart, uncensored.
The theme will be: hope.

**The photos in this post were used by permission from
the talented Kelly over at {this} restless heart.
I thank her for sharing with us the
beautiful view of things often not noticed.**
**The winner of the audio Bible giveaway is
....drumroll please...
CHRISTY, over from her blog at LiveAndLearn!
Congrats, dah-lin'!  Make sure to email me your mailing info!!**

Looking up as always...

Whoa, you are truly a God-gifted poet! I dabble in poetry occasionally...went to an open mic last night, and hearing people's poems spoken so poignantly really gave me unspeakable joy. I'll be back next week with something from my scribble closet...
