I really don't know where the time has gone...
I was pregnant with you...
and before I knew it, you were 2...
I blinked again and you were 4...
and then again and you were dressing up for the Kindergarten Halloween parade...
Today I opened my eyes and you are 8.
I don't know where the time went...because I can still feel you curled up in my arms,
happily tucked away from the world...
barely aware of what life really was.
My heart is full today...but I praise God, as it is full of love for you!
Happy Birthday to my Bee-Bye...
You will never be too big to be my baby!

Thanks, Karen! She smiled at the fact that "I am so important that PEOPLE say Happy Birthday to me!!" Guess we round these parts don't qualify as people...but love the happiness in her voice too much to correct her. ha ha
