Dropping The Weight

Yesterday, as I was driving home in a flu-induced delirium, I actually prayed and asked God:
"You know...I really can see myself getting out of control in the area of eating and my weight. What do You think? Is this something I need to be working on while I have soooooooo many other important things to focus on...things that need my attention and focus...important, worthwhile things... Well, just let me know."

Ya, well, don't ever ask Him to let you know because...He does.

And He did.

Want to know more...?  You can read the rest of this post over where I will keep track of this particular journey, on a new blog called The Weight of Truth.  If you are interested in supporting, praying for or even possibly joining (I know...wishful thinking at its finest) me, please feel free to pop on over there, bookmark it and then drop me a line or two...I could really use all the help I can get.

Feeling a bit exposed while looking up as always...

So, you're at home practically dying of the flu, and you not only manage to post two times today, but you accomplished this other blog?!
Curse you woman! And the subject matter, oh Lordy, how did she know where I have been this week?! Oh wait, we shared some last week. Okay. Guilt and motivation are living here now as well, but your reasons are undeniable. I will support you, and walk along. over here. far far away from a place where I have to post what you have posted!
Love you girl!

The strength for THIS post was purely of God...He knew He had to get me while He had me or I would be off and gone by morning :)

I love you, my Alicia...and your support means a great deal...even if from waaaay over there :)

I understand it's a tough tough practice to lose weight. I pray your strength.

Hey, I'm Kelly's friend Jennifer and I saw your blog thru her's. I just have to say I'm so impressed with you. As someone who has struggled for years with weight issues, I can't imagine the strength it took to post that blog (btw I tried to post this comment over there, but it wouldn't let me for some reason.) While I don't have the strength you do to post a blog like that, I'm with you in this challenge. I did my first ever spin class today, and I'm commiting myself to going to spin 3 days a week. Just know you're not alone in this challenge. Praying for strength for both of us. :)

Why did I become friends with you before this post? I could have innocently and ignorantly never have known all about this. Now I am feeling conviction to join you. We even have a treadmill in our home. Right there, literally two feet away from me, so no excuses right?!?!?! I will pray and get back to you. Love you and so proud of you to step out of the boat girl. Hugs, :O)
